Paint & Sip

Calling all artists! Stratton welcomes community instructor Kate Franklin to lead this paint and sip workshop. Come in for a break, and learn how to create a colorful masterpiece. You’ll enjoy wine and nibbles, and good conversation with fellow attendees.
CLASS INCLUDES
Instruction, canvas, painting supplies, apron, and 2 glasses of wine (red or white, 21+).
Children ages 13 – 17 years old at discretion of their guardian.
Must be 21+ to receive wine.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
A fine artist for over 30 years, Kate Franklin has concentrated on oil paintings of landscapes and nature.
As an oil painter, Kate specializes in landscapes that suggest the grandeur of nature. Her impressionist style and rich colors invite the viewer to walk into the scene!
Kate grew up in Bedford, New York, and went to college in New England, graduating from Wheaton College in Massachusetts with a B.A. in Art History. She then went on to study fine art at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, Rhode Island, finishing with the equivalent of a B.F.A. in painting.
She has had her work exhibited in juried shows in New Jersey, New England, and Missouri, and has taught both adults and children in private art lessons since 1997.
