Flute, oboe, guitar and cello, the instruments themselves form the basis of this New York quartet’s name. Four extraordinary musicians have come together to play a repertoire which seeks to bring the guitar into the mainstream of chamber music by including works of Bach, Mozart, Schubert, Ravel, etc. – in short, the giants of the western classical tradition.
This is the 23rd year of Sundays On The Hill Concert Series in Weston, Vermont. The one hour concerts will be held in the acoustically perfect Church on the Hill at 4 o’clock. The cost is still only $5, with those 12 and under admitted free.
