Celebrating Duke Ellington’s 120th Birthday. The stellar jazz duo of Peter H. Bloom, flute, and John Funkhouser, piano, will mark the 120th birthday of the great Duke Ellington (1899-1974), with an exuberant show of Ellingtonia, including Take the A Train (Billy Strayhorn).
This is the 23rd year of Sundays On The Hill Concert Series in Weston, Vermont. The one hour concerts will be held in the acoustically perfect Church on the Hill at 4 o’clock. The cost is still only $5, with those 12 and under admitted free.
