Your registration for tennis, lunch or both directly benefits the KURA/KDEF Project. Since 2013, KURA/KDEF has provided Opportunity Kits (OK’s) to more than 7,000 girls in over 30 schools in Northern Kenya. An OK contains 4 reusable menstrual pads, underwear and soap that can last a year or more.
These basic products help girls stay in school. Without them girls often miss up to a week of school every month, fall behind, drop out and are at risk for early marriage. Every registration for the event purchases one kit.
